Induction Task- Hand To Hand- Video Evaluation

Hand To Hand- Evaluation

Hand To Hand- Evaluation
Overall the piece took three to four hours of filming and editing; the final product lasting about one and a half minutes. The important thing to look at in the video is continuity and as a whole it does hold it up- even with the match on actions. The final piece was a success, completed by Sarah and Jamie.
Looking at continuity more in depth. The facial expressions of the characters aren’t exactly seamless and can be noticeable if you’re looking for it, however, at first glance it’s not a big issue. On s positive note, The M.O.A Sarah did were well edited especially the cassette tape sliding across the table. Other than that, in terms of smoothness of cuts there went too many errors and we were happy with the result.
The narrative is simple, and reasonably well put together. Its simply an exchange of two items between two characters across a table. We used the establishing shots at the start and end to set and re-set the scene; one of Jamie entering and one of Billy leaving and walking down the corridor. It wasn’t hard to do as a whole, we kept it short and sweet
